The best way to register for World Series of Poker events is online. It’s quick and convenient method. It also allows you to sign up for whatever events you plan to play well ahead of time. There are some simple directions to follow.

Step 1:

Begin by downloading the registration form, which will be in PDF format. Then, simply fill the form out fully, indicating each event that you wish to play in.

Step 2:

You must submit the pre-registration form to the Rio before the two-week deadline. All event pre-registration closes two weeks prior to the events in question. You will receive confirmation of your submission via e-mail, but it may take up to one week for processing.

Step 3:

You must also submit a deposit with your registration form for the amount of the event or events you wish to join. That deposit can be used for whatever purpose you wish, including, of course, putting it toward the event registration. However, you must make that decision and transfer the deposit (if necessary) when you are actually present at the Rio.

Step 4:
Speaking of being present at the Rio, remember that registration must be finalized in person at the Rio. You will be required to prove your identity via a state or military ID card, driver’s license or passport. At that point in time, you’ll also be told which table and seat you will start the tournament at.
